Thank you, Veterans! We are so appreciative that TCHS graduate and Army Sergeant Christian Hagan, who just returned from Korea, shared his story with the William Tell Elementary students.

We can't wait to read your comments and interpretation of this WTE visitor this morning! Be safe tonight!

We had a beautiful evening for our Fall Fest! We appreciate all of our volunteers who provided hayrides (Thank you, Brumfields!), cooked the delicious chili, served food, painted faces, worked the games, etc. It was so nice to see such a crowd--and we were glad that so many grandparents were able to attend as well!

UPDATE - We are Boys Soccer Sectional Champs!!! Way to go Marksmen!!!

It's been a great weekend so far for the Marksmen! A football win, boys and girls 2nd place finishes at PAC XC, and the Marching Marksmen are headed to Semi-State!
Let's keep the ball rolling (pun intended) with the Boys Soccer Sectional - kickoff at 6:00pm!! Go Marksmen!!

Shout out to the Perry County EMS crew for coming to TCJSHS yesterday!! Our freshmen are getting CPR Certified, and they came yesterday to help test students on their CPR skills checks. We thank them for helping these young adults learn skills that might save the life of another person.

We want to thank Everbody's for the recess dance party, yoga, and special staff treat for Wellness Week! We also want to thank Mr. Henrickson who shares weekly "Wellness Wednesday" activities for our students. Thank you for a fun celebration of Wellness Week!

How lucky are we at William Tell Elementary to have firefighters who care enough about our students to be here ALL DAY LONG to do fire safety demonstrations for our students?
Please enter through the cafeteria doors. Please see the correct date for the item pick up in this post and in the text message sent home today.

Tell City Junior-Senior High School is proud to announce that 16 juniors were inducted into the Tell City High School chapter of National Honor Society in a ceremony held on Sunday, September 29th in the school auditorium.
National Honor Society is a nation-wide organization which recognizes excellence in service, leadership, scholarship, and character. Members are required to complete a number of service hours and participate in a group project, as well as maintain a strong academic performance, and continue to display high standards in the areas of character and leadership.

Many thanks to the businesses and organizations that made the Tour of Opportunity a great day for our 8th grade students. Our students were exposed to the many great employment opportunities that are available right here in our backyard!!

It was a beautiful morning for our "IWALK" to school! We want to thank the Tell City Police Department, Perry County Public Library, Tell City Mayor's Office, and all of the many parents, grandparents, students, and staff for joining us. We love where we live!

The great challenge to create a giant pumpkin of 1000 pounds by William Tell Elementary students has fallen short at 400 pounds. Unfortunately, Patty developed a stem problem and has remained at the same weight for over one week. At one point in time she was growing 14 pounds per day until Mother Nature stepped in and gave us a cold snap. We still have Gerald on the vine tipping the scales at 176 pounds. Time is running short, so we don't know where he will end up. Patty will be set up in front of the school this week. Feel free to come by and get a picture. Frank will be there also. He is about 125 pounds. We will have Patty's seeds for sale at our fall festival. These are Atlantic Giant, William Tell Elementary seeds and will be 5 for $5. We will use the proceeds to purchase a place to store our tools and protect our technology.
Thanks for all the support from our community!! We have learned a lot and plan to be back next year!!

We're thrilled to announce the new app for TC Schools! It's everything MARKSMEN, in

The Tell City vs. Southridge football game has been postponed until Saturday night at 6:00pm. It'll be wet, wild, and windy.....but let's pack the stands to support the Marksmen!
As of now, the football game tonight is still on, however we have moved Homecoming ceremonies to the next home game.
