Congratulations to Lydia Hollinden for being awarded a grant from Youth Resources to support the Marksmen Closet. This grant will help purchase clothing racks, organizers, and shelving needed to house all of the donations we have received. The Marksmen Closet is a place where students can get sporting equipment, clothing, shoes, or formal wear in an anonymous manner.
This is a great way for Marksmen to support their fellow students!!

🌟 Happy National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Week! 🌟
This week, we’re celebrating the incredible value of CTE programs and the hardworking educators, students, and professionals who make them thrive! Whether it’s building skills in healthcare, IT, trades, or business, CTE prepares students for success in high-demand careers.
Let’s take a moment to recognize the impact of CTE on our communities and future workforce. 💼🚀

Happy National Counselor's Week! 🎉 We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for all the amazing counselors who make such a positive impact in our students' lives. Your dedication, support, and guidance help so many people navigate challenges and grow stronger every day. Thank you for all that you do! 💙

Shout out to TCPD for coming in last week to help our Criminal Justice go through a mock crime scene at school. The students gathered evidence that linked back to role players (played by some of the officers). Then on Friday, the officers came back to be interviewed by the students while they tried to solve the case.
We love our partnership with Chief Lawalin and TCPD - they set a great example for our community and truly care about our students!!

Congratulations to our Junior High Students of the Month. These students have been working incredibly hard in school and they all showcase what it truly means to be a Marksman!

A big thank you to Andy Sommer, Manager of Member Services at Southern Indiana Power, for taking time out of his busy day to speak with Ms. Spires' high school marketing classes! The students really appreciated the opportunity to learn valuable insights about marketing and its real-world applications.💡🎯

It's an annual tradition on the first day back from Winter Break for 10 of our former graduates to come and speak to the students in Grades 9-12 about their college experiences. Each year they share great stories, give tips to our current students, and share their successes. We thank them for their support in helping our students grow!

We had a fun day today at William Tell Elementary to end the semester. A special thank you to the TCJSHS band for visiting! We also enjoyed the annual 6th grade vs staff basketball game. At our assembly we recognized our 5th and 6th grade basketball teams, and they were sporting their awesome new uniforms. The players even showed us some dance moves! We also recognized Spell Bowl, VEX, and had a hula contest . Happy Holidays!

We wish "Mrs. Ress" the very best in her retirement. Sonia Ress worked at William Tell Elementary as Secretary/Treasurer for 19 years. She was recognized today at an assembly where she received lots of hugs from students and staff. Sonia loved her job and did it well, but more than anything she loved the students.
Come support the Key Club's Bake Sale and Gift Wrapping after school today!

Rising Stars of Indiana recognizes high school juniors for their academic achievement.
Congratulations to these outstanding scholars!
