TELL CITY – The Tell City High School Drama Club presented the play “Camp Paradise” March 6-8 in the high school auditorium.
This comedy featured vignettes about different types of summer camps such as a nature camp and a computer camp. Campers experience camp not being quite what they had signed up for and run-ins with wild animals. As usual, students put a Marksman spin on their production.
Fifty-three high schoolers were involved in putting together this play. Students were in charge of all aspects of the show: actors, stage crew, set designers, publicity crew, hairstylists and make-up artists, and sound and light crew.
This year, the play didn't have a main cast. The performance was a series of short plays. The cast members included Will Hammond, Dalton Kessinger, Emma Severson, Amani Severson, Dylan King, Brooklynn King, Elizabeth Areson, Mikko Chapman, Coby McCallister, Jaxon Naviaux, Anne Mundy, Levi Nash, Maggie Rockwell, Mary Hollinden, Devin Plaza, Ella Rich, Jacob Roesch, Daniel Scott and Bella Daum.
Choreography was done by Jillian Ramsey. Head of Stage Management was Marra Hartweck and Anisa Motteler. Head of set design was Claire Franzman. Head of make-up and hair was Leanne Goffinet. Head of publicity was Dreama Cronin and Mattea Swaney. Directors for the short plays were Joyce Stath, Bethany Peter and Kyle Vincent.
